Usher Morgan is a distinguished screenwriter, film director, producer, and entrepreneur based in New York City. His journey in the entertainment world began in the realm of book publishing. However, drawn by his love of cinema, he soon transitioned to film production and distribution.

He produced his first documentary film, "The Thought Exchange" starring David Friedman and Lucie Arnaz in 2012, followed by his directorial debut, the award-winning short film "Prego."

2018 saw the release of Morgan's first feature film, "Pickings." Celebrated for its unique storytelling and impressive direction, it not only received widespread critical acclaim but also secured a limited theatrical release through AMC Independent in March of that same year. Morgan’s directorial style, deeply rooted in film-noir and spaghetti westerns, shines through in his works, setting him apart in the industry. This distinctive approach hasn’t gone unnoticed.
