Her impressive portfolio includes being an accomplished author, independent public television host, Emmy award-winning executive producer, and a consultant for diverse women in professional settings. Lerner's academic achievements are marked by her membership in Phi Beta Kappa and her MBA from Pace University. She also holds a master's degree in education from City College in New York City, where she currently resides.

Her journey began as a dedicated public school teacher in New York City before transitioning into the business world. In the 1980s, Lerner made her mark in sales and marketing at The New York Times, steadily advancing through the ranks to management roles.

Lerner's dedication to empowering women led her to author the acclaimed book "The Confidence Myth: Why Women Undervalue Their Skills and How to Get Over It" in 2015, earning recognition for her insightful perspectives on working women.

She is the driving force behind Creative Expansions, Inc., a multimedia enterprise focused on women and girls. Since its establishment in 1994, Lerner has produced and hosted over twenty televised specials under this banner. The most prominent platform within the company is WomenWorking.com, a website catering to career women and fostering a dynamic community.

Lerner continues to make a significant impact through her online presence, starring in and producing three engaging miniseries on YouTube: "Unapologetically Honest," "Career Advice 101," and "Lifestyle Hacks."
