David Friedman is a prolific songwriter whose inspiring and hopeful compositions have taken on new significance in today's challenging times. With a remarkable career spanning multi-platinum recordings, Broadway shows, Disney films, television scores, and nationwide teaching and lecturing, he has left a significant mark in the entertainment industry.

Notable for songs like "We Can Be Kind," "Listen to My Heart," "Help Is On The Way," "We Live on Borrowed Time," "Trust The Wind," and "I'll Be Here With You," David's work has been recorded by esteemed artists such as Diana Ross, Barry Manilow, and Nancy LaMott.

David's journey began conducting musicals on Broadway, including well-known productions like "Grease," "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," and "Song and Dance." He then made his mark in Hollywood, contributing as the Conductor and Vocal Arranger for Disney classics like "Beauty & The Beast," "Aladdin," "Pocahontas," and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." His collaboration with Disney extended to writing music and lyrics for "Aladdin and the King of Thieves" and scoring three animated television series.

Broadway also welcomed David as he ventured into writing musicals. Collaborating with Peter Kellogg, he achieved success with productions like "Chasing Nicolette," "Stunt Girl," "Lincoln in Love," and "Desperate Measures." Additionally, his Christmas Oratorio "King Island Christmas" has gained popularity with numerous productions worldwide.

Apart from his music career, David embarked on a metaphysical journey, creating "The Thought Exchange®" method. The concept, originally developed to empower artists at Unity Church of New York City, expanded to touch the lives of people from diverse backgrounds. He now conducts workshops and private sessions across the country, helping individuals embrace positive change and personal growth.
