    Open Positions    

(1) Sales Agents: (LAS VEGAS, NV)

LTP is seeking a National Sales Agent to join their Sales Team. Applicant will have an active selling role and is responsible for all hardcover, trade paperback, mass market and audio books. Candidate will work with publishers, marketing, publicity, and sales to position LTP Titles.

Responsibilities include: maximizing sales growth within the established account base, developing relationships with key customers, creating the development of marketing, advertising, promotional and publicity programs and communicating account information as it relates to appropriate imprints. Duties also include forecasting of key title/imprint performance and participating in title presentations. 
 

(2) Public Relations Officer (LAS VEGAS, NV)

LTP is seeking a Public Relations Officer, a key part of our marketing team. Your job will be to deliver our products to the largest possible readership through innovative consumer-facing marketing and public-relations campaigns in local and national media.

Responsibilities include: executing public relations campaigns, including radio, TV and print media; Work closely with our authors on vertical content initiatives and social media outreach for specific categories; Cultivate relationships with key bloggers in appropriate categories.

Must have:

  • 4 year college degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of key marketing concepts and tools including email, social media marketing, and search.

(3) Promotions Coordinator (LAS VEGAS, NV)

LTP seeks an energetic entry level Promotions Coordinator to traffic advertising, marketing and promotion jobs for our adult trade division imprints and work with our authors to coodinate book signing events. You will be working with authors, bookstores and organizations to schedule events and book signing tours.

Required Skills: B.A. required; Mac computer skills required. Some experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Filemaker programs is a plus.  Good phone manner and communication skills a must. Ability to work independently and juggle mutiple tasks definitely preferred. 

(4) Sales Manager (LAS VEGAS, NV)

As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to drive new revenue opportunities for the Midwest region. This will include developing a referral network, prospecting, and working opportunities successfully to close. You will also be responsible for working alongside author representatives and motion picture agents to generate revenue from bulk buyers. You should have an interest in the entertainment industry and an ability to meet aggressive performance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively initiate new business development opportunities to increase market share while meeting pre-defined goals and objectives
  • Negotiating and closing sales opportunities
  • Effectively communicate with buyers
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development to execute sales plan
