Library Tales Publishing, the New York book publisher famous for its merchandising and movie deals in the book publishing world, is expanding into the Midwest, with new offices and facilities in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
New York, New York—10/3/2011—Library Tales Publishing, a book publisher with offices in New York, is expanding its business into Fort Wayne, Indiana this year. The publishing company, known primarily for capitalizing on merchandising and film rights, will add about 3,000 square feet of production, office and warehousing space to accommodate its growing business.
"The new Fort Wayne facility is the first step in expanding our business into the Midwest," said Usher Morgan, chairman and CEO of Library Tales Publishing. "We have been operating in New York City and consistently growing for the past three years, and now Library Tales Publishing is actively expanding into other territories. Our goal is to have facilities in Chicago and in Los Angeles by the end of 2015." Library Tales Publishing also recently invested in a motion picture studio in New York City.
The new facility in Fort Wayne will employ about 50 people in the next two to three years and will add a much-needed boost for the Fort Wayne economy. Morgan’s personal experiences with Fort Wayne contributed to the decision to invest in the city. "It's a good place to live and raise a family,” Morgan said, “and it's a perfect fit for a growing book publisher, mainly because of the local hiring incentives and affordable prices for large facilities." The Fort Wayne facility should be operational by the end of this year.
